Air Namibia (SW, Windhoek Int'l) has wet-leased an A340-500 from Portuguese ACMI/charter specialist Hi Fly (5K, Lisbon) to cover its longhaul requirements over the period May 13 to May 23.
Air Namibia said in a statement that owing to the sudden and unexpected illness of five of its senior captains, one of its two A330-200s had been temporarily withdrawn from service. As such, CS-TFX (cn 912) has already been tracked in service on the Namibian carrier's Windhoek Int'l-Frankfurt Int'l flagship route.
