On landing runway 07, the aircraft ran off the end of runway coming to rest on snow covered ground but within the overrun area. No injuries reported. The airport was forced to close operations for a couple of hours. At the time the weather consisted of continous snowfall and slippery ground conditions.
NOTE: On January 26 2006 a Swiss Embraer E145 experienced a nearly similar incident at Stuttgart when the aircraft overran the end of the runway in icy conditions. In both cases, the aircraft was not fitted with thrust reversers.
