on my vacation (one-way rental drive with a truck-camper from Vancouver up to the north til Withehorse i spend a few hours an bigger (international), smaller (regional airport) and smallest (airstrips) airports along our way.

our routing (in the air of the entire trip):

the reginal airport of Smither YYD is located between snow covered rocky mountains to the south - and wood to the north. quite an active one with lots of helicopter services:

also the airstrip of Teslin was not woth the stop  



the last and international airport of Whitehorse XYX of this trip is quite impressive, with Air Yukon as homebase. Unfortunately the last 737-200(C)er flights were in April 2015, so i missed this rare birds in the air
